Tom Peterson, President of Desert Star Homes, Inc. has been building custom homes in the High Desert since 1979. He has earned a reputation for integrity and a willingness to accommodate the wishes and desires of his clients, whenever possible. Tom understands the meaning of "custom". He encourages clients to use their imagination and ask questions or make recommendations. All of which adds up to a home that lives up to your dreams!
Desert Star Homes believes in quality construction. For example, all exterior walls use 2' x 6' studs to allow the maximum possible insulation. This quality effort results in reduced heating and cooling costs over the life of your new home.
Tom believes that quality should apply to design, as well as construction. Throughout your new home you will find bull-nosed corners, vaulted ceilings, arched doorways and quality oak cabinetry as standard items.
In addition to our design, construction expertise and commitment to quality we also recognize that building your dream home can be frustrating at times. Tom, his administrative staff, and every worker on your home will strive to minimize those frustrations and make your home building experience a pleasure.
